Rachel Glogowski

Rachel Glogowski was born in England. She has a Bachelor’s degree in German Studies from the University of Birmingham, England, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Baker College. She worked in England and then in Germany for several years before emigrating to the United States in 1997.

During law school, she was elected to the Board of Editors of the school’s Law Review and also worked as a citation editor for the nationally renowned, plain-language expert, Joseph Kimble. 

She graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in the top 9% of her class. She is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Rachel Glogowski has also served as an Adjunct Professor at WMU Cooley Law School, where she taught Scholarly Writing and Advanced Legal Research and Writing for approximately 7 years.

In 2014, she established her practice in Southwest Detroit, with the aim of providing reasonably priced immigration legal services to the local community, focusing primarily on family-based and removal defense immigration. In August 2019, she opened her second office, in Lapeer, Michigan, expanding her services to include temporary employment visas.

In May 2021, her article, ‘Why Don’t They Just Get In Line,’ was published in Laches, an Oakland County Bar Association publication.

From 2015 to 2020, she was recognized as a Michigan Rising Star Super Lawyer. She speaks fluent German and some Spanish and French. She prides herself on being honest, hardworking, and dedicated to obtaining results for her clients.
